ARTIST IN RESIDENCE:
Anders will be "Artist in Residence" at the Nordic Watercolour Museum (Nordiska Akvarellmuseet) in Skärhamn. Together with Embla Dance & Theatre he will create a performance inspired by gouaches of Louise Bourgeois. Opening October 27th.
EARTHSONGS AFRIQUE:
A unique collaboration between Nordic worldjazz and westafrican balafon player. Moussa Hema from Burkina Faso will perform with Earthsongs in a new setting with Anders Stefan Blomquist-keyboards and Ola Bothzén - percussion.

SWEDEN-INDIA-PALESTINE - " A JOURNEY OF SOUNDS"
A new project based on the musical friendship between Anders and tabla player Fazal Qureshi from Bombay, India. Together with palestine oud virtuoso Ahmad al-Khatib they create imaginary pictures in A Journey of Sound.
MUSIC FOR NEW PERFORMANCE BY EMBLA DANCE & THEATRE
Anders has composed music for the dance performance "På vår Strand" (On the Beach) that recently had premiere.
Embla and the show will tour Scandinavia during 2009-10.

SPRING 2009
*February 21st I made a solo performance at the opening of an art exhibition at Nordic Akvarell Museum, Tjörn.
That was the first concert with my new Contra Bass Flute, made by Eva Kingma. Using live loops I played two compositions made for this show, "The Sea" and "Lonestar".
*Featured soloist on the CD, "Silent Dreams" (Naxos) with Dan Evmark that was released in February 2009.
